Wiltshire Mind Honours Jim Donald as Honorary Lifetime President

Wiltshire Mind is proud to announce that Jim Donald has been awarded the prestigious title of Honorary Lifetime President of the charity. This recognition celebrates Jim’s outstanding contribution and commitment during his years of service.

Jim first joined Wiltshire Mind as a trustee and later became Chair in 2019. Over the past six years, he has played a pivotal role in guiding the charity through significant challenges, including the unprecedented difficulties of the Covid-19 pandemic. During this time, Jim not only led as Chair but also stepped in as interim CEO, ensuring that our vital mental health and wellbeing services continued to support those in need.

At a recent Trustee Board meeting, Jim was presented with his certificate of presidency by incoming Chair, Brian Stables, who expressed heartfelt thanks on behalf of the board, staff, volunteers, and the communities we serve. To mark the occasion, Jim also received a bottle of his favourite single malt whisky, a small token of appreciation for his dedication and leadership.

Wiltshire Mind extends its gratitude to Jim for his exceptional service and commitment to fundraising, and improving mental health support across Wiltshire. Jim continues to volunteer his time as trustee and ambassador for the charity.
