New Creative Wellbeing Group Launches for Young People in Corsham

A brand-new Young People’s Creative Wellbeing Group is launching in Corsham this August, offering a welcoming, inclusive space where young people can connect, create, and explore new activities in a relaxed and supportive environment.

The six-week programme is designed for young people aged 12 to 18 and provides an opportunity to try creative activities, meet new people, build confidence, and improve wellbeing, all with no pressure to participate in any activity that doesn’t feel right.

The group offers a neurodivergent-friendly environment, with sensory-aware activities, a calm and supportive atmosphere, and the freedom for participants to engage at their own pace. Headphones and other comfort aids are welcome, ensuring everyone can feel safe and included.

Whether a young person enjoys arts and crafts, wants to develop new skills, is looking to make friends, or simply needs a positive space to spend time with others, the group is open to all levels of experience.

“We want to create a place where young people feel comfortable being themselves,” said Wiltshire Mind organisers. “There are no expectations, no pressure, and no need to be ‘good’ at creative activities. It’s simply about coming together, exploring new things, and supporting wellbeing through creativity and connection.”
