Could you fundraise for Wiltshire Mind?
Every day, people across Wiltshire face challenges with their mental health. In fact, 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem each year, yet too many struggle to access the support they need when they need it most.
At Wiltshire Mind, we work hard to fill that gap by providing mental health support for children, young people and adults across our county. We offer one-to-one counselling and wellbeing groups keeping support affordable for adults and free for children and young people wherever possible.
Last year, thanks to the generosity of our community, we supported around 400 people across Wiltshire. Community fundraising raised over £72,000, helping us deliver life-changing mental health support directly to local people.
However, like many charities, we are facing significant financial challenges. We receive no statutory funding from the Government or the NHS for our core services and rely almost entirely on the support of our local community. Quite simply, if we are to continue helping people who need us, we must raise more funds.
That’s why we’re asking individuals, families, schools, community groups and local businesses to get involved.
Whether it’s a sponsored walk, a bake sale, a challenge event, a coffee morning, a quiz night, or something completely unique, every pound raised makes a difference. Setting up a fundraising page through JustGiving is quick and easy, and friends, family and colleagues can support your efforts with donations.
By fundraising for Wiltshire Mind, you’re helping ensure that local mental health support remains available for the people who need it most, both now and in the future.
Please help if you can. Start your fundraising journey today and help us continue changing lives across Wiltshire.
Together, we can make sure nobody has to face a mental health challenge alone.
